The Versatile Blogger

Kim from Grow.Chew. gave me one of her Veratile Blogger badges (thanks Kim!) so I’m ready to pass the link love on.  The rules are easy:  say 7 things about yourself and nominate 7 other bloggers.  Ooh, I hate talking about myself…  it’s so much easier to talk about the tomatoes in my garden.

1. I really wish I could find my DVD copy of Office Space.  I LOVE that movie.
2. I project manage my knitting.  Yeah, there’s an app for that.  I have a lot of things on the go.
3. We don’t own a car, but if I won the lottery, I’d buy a Mini in a heartbeat.
4. I downloaded some new music for my iPod this week including: Gonzales, Kathryn Calder and Arcade Fire.
5. I wish we didn’t get like a zillion inches of snow so that we could ride cute Dutch-style bikes all year round.
6. I worry a lot about Alden and his food allergies.  A lot.
7. I love eating veggies from our garden.

1. FoodiePrints – If you need to know about food in Ottawa, Don and Jenn are there.  Is there anywhere they haven’t tried?  I’m not sure.
2. Relishing.ca – Fashionable, smart AND a public servant.  I know.  You didn’t think those three things could ever exist together.  Believe it.  And while you’re at it, visit her photography project at le mien.
3. Shutterbean - We both have toddlers who are almost the same age.  If we didn’t live on opposites ends of the continent, I’m sure that our boys would be BFFs.
4. After the Harvest -  Local blogger, foodie, and locavore.  I love reading Heather’s blog.
5. Veggie Patch Reimagined – If you need Ottawa specific gardening advice and don’t mind a little veggie patch envy, you have to check out this blog.
6. I’ve run out of time!  Lunch hours are so short!
